Click to Bid, 8 by 10 inches, Acrylic on acid free illustration board
The background in this painting is an antique children's tray. I purchased it recently at an area flea market.
The tray is similar to another tray used in a previous painting. This trompe-loeil is another in the "3-D meets 2-D" series.

He Loves Me He Loves Me Not
Sold 8 by 8.5 inches, Acrylic on acid free illustration board
This is another painting in the "3-D meets 2-D series". The background is actually a toy metal tray from a children's play set from the 1950's. I positioned the Fisher Price figure in front of the tray as I painted the still life.

Watch Out for Spring
Sold 8 by 9 inches, Acrylic on acid free illustration board
This is an antique toy tray I found at a local antique store recently. I liked the rust and tarnish visible on the tray. I added those to the painting. It makes for a more interesting piece. The toy figure standing in front of the tray producing a 3-D affect also adds to the interest.
