Even though most of the paint is applied with airbrush in my artworks I still enjoy painting textured surfaces. The airbrush is known for its smooth consistent paint application but is very versatile even when the painting has roughly textured surfaces.

Sorry We're Closed

I find painting the cast shadow of tree foliage difficult.  The values and colors tend to vary.  For example in this painting the cast shadows of the leaves appear almost blue on the white door while on the sidewalk the shadows are very dark.
