Eat Rite Diner at Dawn

Click to Bid, 18 by 24inches, Acrylic on acid free illustration board
This painting depicts a small diner in downtown St. Louis located near Busch Stadium.  The diner is known for its sliders.  This is one of several recent paintings of mine that feature diffused lighting.

Bus Ride at Dawn

Sold  18 by 24 inches,  Acrylic on acid free illustration board
This school bus travels down the gravel road near our home each weekday morning during the school year. One morning I was walking my dogs and noticed this stunning scene as the bus travelled down the road to make a right turn onto the highway.  The painting was challenging in that the dark values had to be exact to make the scene work.

Daybreak (East Window)

Sold  7 by 10 inches,   Acrylic on acid free illustration board
I'm very pleased with this finished painting.  The curtain, wall shadows, lamp and reflections on the table create an interesting subject.

Dawn Came In this Morning

Watercolor                  11 by 14 inches                                                                                             Another change of pace for me.    Watercolor is very different from acrylic in many respects.  I tried to keep this piece loose compared to my airbrush acrylic paintings.
