My latest trompe l'oeil.  The shadows cast by the pencils are very important in making the pencils look three dimensional.

The "tromp'loeil" series continues.   The drawing in this painting is based on a picture drawn by my grandchild.  As an elementary art instructor for thirty years I saw countless numbers of artwork done by children.  Yet each one was interesting and enjoyable to view.
