Nursey Rhymes Top

This painting depicts a top I recently purchased at a local flea market. I enjoy painting tops because of the bright colorful characters and the reflection of the shiny metal surface.

1960s Play Top

My wife found this "South of the Border" themed top at a local flea market. It has been a while since I painted a top and knew I had to do this one. 

Toy Spinner with Sky

For this painting I placed the top outside on a large mirror with blue sky reflecting around the top. Some soft clouds are visible in the lower left.

This top is not a vintage mid-century top like most of the other tops depicted in my paintings. 

This is actually a retro top produced within the last 20 years. I liked the images on the top and decided to paint it.

This is actually a newly manufactured top that I recently purchased.  Of course it's made to resemble the vintage tops that I've painted extensively over the years.

This is a painting of a small vintage top.  I've painted the top previously. This is the first time I've done it with a reflection in shadows.

This is one of my larger top paintings.  I found this top at an outdoor flea market recently.  To do the painting I placed the top on a large mirror to achieve the reflection.
