I wanted to do something different with a fantasy twist. I remember watching the movie "2001 A Space Odyssey" in the late 1960s at an all-night drive-in. That movie was on my mind as I developed the concept for this painting. All three of the figures in the painting are toy figures produced during the 1960s.

This is another concept piece that allowed me to contrast flat 2D images with 3D images. In addition, the painting also depicts plastic toys which I am very fond of painting.
