I have a one and a half mile walking path through the woods near my home. I usually walk my two dogs along the path each morning. Last spring, I came upon these blooming dogwoods and used my I-Phone to take a number of photos. Those photos were used as references for this artwork.

This is the second painting I've done of this building that's located at Meramac Spring State Park in central Missouri. It was originally used as an icehouse in the early 1900s.

This is a painting from a few years ago.  The wooded background area distinguishes this painting from my other "vehicles in snow" pieces.  On my other paintings in this series I've included sky and more distant woods.
