Beach Boardwalk

Click to Bid, 8 by 10 inches, Acrylic on acid free illustration board

This painting is based on some recent photo references from a family vacation at Dauphin Island, Alabama. I know this is a very common beach scene that artists like to paint. I thought the addition of the fishing boat adds a new twist to the scene.

Beach House (Late Evening)

Click to Bid, 26 by 34 inches, Acrylic on acid free illustration board.

I grew up near the swift currents of the Missouri River, a body of water not known for swimming. As a result, I never learned to swim. However, the ocean has always fascinated me. This painting is based on some recent photos from a vacation trip to Alabama.

I like the soft background contrasting with the sharp-edged figure in this painting.
