I photographed some houses and buildings on a recent trip to a nearby town. The village is known for its German heritage. We arrived about mid-morning and I thought it might be too late to capture morning light. However, after arriving home and reviewing the photos I realized that some of the photos were great for painting references. This is one of the paintings.
