This top is not a vintage mid-century top like most of the other tops depicted in my paintings. 

This is actually a retro top produced within the last 20 years. I liked the images on the top and decided to paint it.

This is actually a newly manufactured top that I recently purchased.  Of course it's made to resemble the vintage tops that I've painted extensively over the years.

During my recent visit to the Missouri State Fair I photographed numerous scenes. This artwork painted from some of those reference photos depicts stuffed animals used as prizes on the midway.

Circus Spinner in Shadows

This is the second painting for this top.  With the majority of the upper top being white I wasn't sure what to expect during the painting process.  It's more difficult to show reflections in the white.  However, I think the end result looks fine.

My main concern in this piece was the placement of the tops.  I wanted each top to have an interesting position without any repetition of spacing.
