Another in the "zinnia series." I probably spent more time photographing this artwork than doing the actual painting. There's seven layers of paint on the petals (applied light to dark) and with this buildup of paint comes a shine that reflects when photographing. It took some time to set up a place to photograph where there would be less reflection.
