As you can see on the small petal frisket pieces as the painting progressed I marked the pieces I had already painted using a marker. As the painting continues this allows me to know which pieces are already painted. Finally when I have completed the painting I remove all the frisket. If I don't use the marker I sometimes remove the frisket to find I've forgotten to paint an area under it.
