I thought it was time for some artistic humor! However, from a serious standpoint a college professor of mine once stated that pictures in our society have taken on a great symbolic importance. As an example she stated that you probably wouldn't take your mother's picture and poke a hole through the eyes with a pencil.
Videos and photos are everywhere in our society. The images themselves take on a life of their own.
