In the stone age before streaming music and long before cassettes and CDs, 8-track tapes were a very popular means of playing music. My latest painting depicts an 8-track player and tapes. Recently, I've been including a smoking cigarette and ash tray in some of my retro pieces. I was never a smoker but most of my friends from years ago were. I include the cigarettes in the painting as a way of remembering them.
