This painting of a hummingbird with a flower is a familiar image in fine art. However, I've changed the traditional image by using an abstract background. The background was done with Spectra art tissue. The paper is unique in that it bleeds color when wet. Once the color bleeds onto the board the tissue is removed. The hummingbird and flower were done with airbrush.
