Parlor Reflections

Contact artist for information about purchasing,          18 by 24 inches,     Acrylic on Panel,
I was recently exhibiting artwork at a small historic town in Missouri.  I photographed a number of window reflections and this painting is based on those photos.  This is the window of a small ice cream parlor that served ice cream and also sold collectibles.
I've always been influenced by the Photorealist movement. Store fronts were used as subject matter by numerous artists during that movement. In this painting you see the mannequin and the reflection of the buildings on the opposite side of the street.
