This is the frisket film used to paint "Hay Field on Highway J." Since it's painted with watercolors on watercolor paper the frisket didn't stick well. Frisket is better suited for a smooth paper surface. Watercolor paper has more tooth and is thus more textured. Since there wasn't a large number of small frisket pieces the lack of adhesive didn't cause problems during the painting process.
