This painting is another in the series of moon risings. I used the simple technique of applying paint to a toothbrush to spatter the stars. I was very concerned about spacing of the trees. I wanted to avoid any appearance of uniformity in the spacing. I positioned the moon slightly to the right of the traditional "rule of thirds" placement.
I soon will be using my blog to explain the airbrush process using photos in a step by step progression. I also want to talk about why I paint and the thought process I use in taking a painting from conception to finished artwork.Click to buy
